Just like anything else your jewelry must be maintained. This will help prevent silver tarnish build-up, a dulling that naturally occurs when silver reacts with sulfur or hydrogen sulfide in the ambient air. You can find fine silver polishes, solutions, or cloths appropriate to remove tarnish at most hardware stores or specialty craft stores. Tarnish is most easily removed when it first becomes visible. Although wearing your silver jewelry often is the best way to prevent tarnish from building up, regular cleanings of all your silver items will prevent tarnish and keep your silver bright and shiny. Think of your wedding ring and how it must be cleaned about every 6 months. The plating must be re-dipped, etc. This is the same concept. Your pH level will vary the frequency of cleanings. Although 925 Sterling Silver is often nickel-free, it is not always nickel-free. What the number means is that 92.5% of the metal is pure silver, the remaining 7.5% is copper, and trace elements of some other metal that is used as a hardener. Please keep in mind that if you are changing aluminum or copper to sterling silver or pewter the price will increase based on current market value. To upgrade your chain to sterling silver will cost an additional $10.00 fee. This will include sterling silver pieces such as jump rings and split rings and other miscellaneous parts of the ensemble.

(Not including shipping time). In order to expedite your order quickly we will only ship to the address that you submit during checkout.
